This website is owned and operated by Maddy K. Throughout the website, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Boîte de Joie by Maddy K products and services. The terms "you" and "your" refer to the person using our website to order, use, or consume our products or services. By accessing, browsing and/or using this website, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understand all terms, conditions and disclaimers. By accessing or using any part of the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website or order, use, or consume any of our products or services. Maddy K. reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. You are responsible for staying informed of any changes. Any amendment is effective immediately.
Pricing & Transactions
All prices shown on the Shop page, unless otherwise stated, do not include GST and/or QST. Taxes are calculated at check-out.
All prices, unless otherwise stated, are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Product prices do not include delivery fees.
In the event a customer is entitled to a refund, the refund will be made to the original method of payment.
When providing your credit or debit card details you are agreeing that you are authorised to use that card and it must have sufficient available funds to cover your charges.
Maddy K. reserves the right to modify pricing on the website without notice.
Orders & Delivery
All orders require a minimum notice of 72 hours.
All Quebec orders are subject to a $15 delivery fee.
We currently deliver to the Greater Montreal Area.
Greater Montreal Area deliveries are scheduled Monday through Sunday from 10:00AM to 5:00pm. While we plan to have your orders delivered within this timeframe, Boîte de Joie cannot accept responsibility for any delays which are out of our control.
Boîte de Joie cannot accept responsibility for missed deliveries due to insufficient or incorrect information supplied, or because there is no one present to accept the delivery. We highly recommend delivering to an address where you know someone will be present to accept the delivery.
We ask that you place your order early, at least 72 hours prior to your prefered delivery date, to avoid any issues or disappointments.
As soon as you take possession of the product(s), once delivery has taken place, you are responsible for the product(s).
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature of our products, we currently do not accept refunds or exchanges.
As soon as your order has been processed (you have successfully paid and received a confirmation), we cannot cancel or edit an order. For any emergencies or help with an order, please email us and we will work with you to help resolve any issues.
Any dissatisfaction with Boîte de Joie products and/or services must be communicated to us directly through email at info@maddyk.com. Maddy K. reserves the right to request photos of the original product(s).
Product Variations & Substitutions
Due to the nature of our products, there may be small variations in the appearance of products compared to the product images on our website.
Boîte de Joie will always aim to include the best quality products in each box, but in the instance that a product is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute it with a product of equal or greater quality and value. We will aim to let you know if we intend to do so but this may not always be possible.
Maddy K. reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue a product or service without notice.
Allergy & Dietary Disclaimers
All allergens, ingredients, and shelf life information can be found on our FAQ page and Shop page. By ordering Boîte de Joie products, you agree to have read and understand the allergy and dietary disclaimers found on our website.
You are responsible for reading and understanding what each specific product on our website contains, therefore we respectfully ask you refrain from ordering our products if you or the recipient of the gift have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Discounts & Promo Codes
Any discount available may only be applied to the product(s) value and excludes the delivery fee.
Discounts may not be combined with any other offers, discounts or gift vouchers.
Discounts may not be redeemed for cash or transferred.
Only one discount code may be used per order.
If a discount is available, you must enter the valid promo code prior to order payment and finalisation.
Discounts will not be applied to an order after payment has been made.
Purchase & Sale of Alcohol
Maddy K. supports and respects the minimum legal drinking age in the province of Quebec.
It is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 in the province of Quebec. It is an offence for a person under the age of 18 to purchase or receive alcohol in the province of Quebec.
All boxes on the website including alcohol are limited to 375ml, with the exception of one box that includes two (2) 375ml bottles.
By completing your transaction and placing your order, you acknowledge that you are of legal drinking age in the province of Quebec, and/or the recipient of the gift is of legal drinking age in the province of Quebec.
The purchaser accepts that it is an offence to falsely represent they are of legal age to purchase alcohol and to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person who is under 18 years.
